Zuiderduintjes
Zuiderduintjes (literally: the small dunes of the south ) is small a coastal island Dutchwoman of the Mer of Wadden. It belongs to the Archipel islands of the Plank. The island, hardly more than a Sand bank, is located between the island of Rottumeroog and the coast of Groningue. Zuiderduintjes is a remainder of the southern part of Rottumeroog, island much larger to the Moyen-âge than today. With the latter and the island of Rottumerplaat, it is known besides under a common noun to the three islands: Rottum .
Zuiderduintjes is uninhabited. Zone preserved for the Seal S and the marine Birds, its access is prohibited. It is attached to the commune of Eemsmond and belongs to the Staatsbosbeheer (the Control Dutchwoman of the forests).
