Zhao Yun
Zhao Yun (趙雲) (towards 168 - 229), which was made call Zilong (子龍), is young person of the “Five generals tigers” of the Royaume of Shu. Liu EIB often makes praise of its incredible bravery. Its lance names Wild Dragon .
Zhao Yun is a brave man and powerful warlike; it is courageous (it saves a child of Liu EIB whereas CAD CAD caught up with them in Chan Ban). It is made famous while charging only the enemy lines; its courage was unequalled under the skies. Zhao Yun was a large general of Shu Han. It takes again the town of Nanjun, with the hands of Chen Jiao.
Biography
Originating in Changsan (常山), in the county of Zhending (真定), Zhao Yun, strong and courageous warrior, initially put at the service Yuan Shao against the Yellow Turbans, then with the service of Gongsun Zan. It meets Liu EIB in the camp of Gongsun Zan whereas they fight Dong Zhuo, then is put at its service, impressed by its virtue.
When Liu EIB is isolated from his wife (Mi lady) and from her son Liu Chan during the escape of Xinye, Zhao Yun, only, share to find them by facing the army of CAD CAD. It finds Mi lady, who entrusts Liu Chan to him before throwing herself in a well. It takes an active part in the countryside against the Nanman by killing king Man. At the time of a campaign of Zhuge Liang towards north in 227, it is charged to defend the Shu against a possible counter-attack of the Wei, but is overcome for lack of troops after having beaten 5 young Wei officers at the same time (then old of approximately 70 years). Liu Chan retrogresses it with the row of “general who controls the army”. He dies of old age into 229 and receives on a purely posthumous basis the name of lord of Shunping. With its death, Zhuge Liang would have said: “My friend left. The country lost its sun ray and me my right-hand man”.
