Zenob

Zénob is a literary café with Three-Rivers and annually the general headquarter of the International festival of poetry. This very single bar specializes out of wines and beers, and there are often musical productions, readings of poetry, or performances theatrical and multidisciplinary. One of the oldest bars of Three-Rivers is located at the basement of a beautiful ancestral house in historical quarters of the downtown area (old Three-Rivers), it is a cordial and relaxed environment: a truth impossible to circumvent in Mauricie!

High place of the intellectual and cultural life with Three-Rivers, of many artists and intellectuals there have their practices and are associated with close with the literary and cultural mobility which was created around Zénob. . Zénob was founded in 1984 by Jean Lafrenière and Jean-Pierre Hamelin. It took the changing of the Café Octave and the Galérie Hébert-Gaudreault .
