Zdeno Chára

Zdeno Chára (born the March 18th 1977 with Trenčín in Czechoslovakia - today town of Slovakia) is a player of Hockey evolving/moving like defender in the National league of hockey. He is at present the captain of the Bruins of Boston.

To 2.06 m, he is the largest player of the history of the LNH.

Career in club

It was fished out in 56e position by the Islanders of New York at the time of the Repêchage of entry in the LNH 1996. It was exchanged with the Senators d' Ottawa in 2001 then signed with Bruins in 2006.Il took part in the match of stars in 2007 because of its defensive qualities and its struck shooting. Moreover, it finished first very right in front of Sheldon Souray with a shooting crashing to pieces of more than 160 km/h.
