Ystad

Harbor small town of the southern point of the Sweden (Scanie), located at 55 km of Malmö and 75 km of Copenhagen (Denmark). Ystad whose origins go back to the 13th century (first mention written in 1244 in Annals of Lund) is famous for its historical center. The city counts 17  000 inhabitants, and the common of which it is the chief town approximately 27  000.

This small village is also the city of the famous police chief Kurt Wallander, main character of the detective novels of the writer Henning Mankell.
