This year would have begun the September 22nd 1793 and finished the September 21st 1794. It will come into effect only starting from the October 6th 1793 (15 vendémiaire II), the shortly after the date of the decree instituting it.

- Thermidor 9 (July 27th): coup d'etat of Thermidor 9: fall of the Robespierristes.
- Thermidor 10 (July 28th): Execution of Maximilien de Robespierre, Louis Saint-Just, Georges Couthon and other robespierrists. The execution of Robespierre puts an end to Terror. It is the beginning of the reaction thermidorienne.
