Yūjirō Ishihara

Yūjirō Ishihara (石原裕次郎; Ishihara Yūjirō ) (December 28th, 1934 - July 17th 1987) was a Acteur and a Chanteur Japanese born with Kobe. His/her older brother, Shintarō Ishihara, is an author, a politician and the current governor of Tōkyō. Yūjirō studied with prestigious the Université Keiō, then it began its career in 1956 in the film the season from the sun based on the novel written by his brother. Actor star of the post-war period, considered as the Elvis Presley or the Humphrey Bogart Japanese, his death at 52 years, upset his fans.

On the island of Hokkaido, there exists a Yūjirō memorial in the town of Otaru, where the Ishihara family lived. Each year more than one million fans visit this museum which gathers some 20.000 parts having belonged to Yūjirō Ishihara of which clothing and cars. This memorial is often compared with the Graceland memorial with Memphis devoted to Elvis Presley (which counts 600.000 visitors per annum).
