Yéhezkel Nisnov

Yéhezkel Nisnov ( יחזקאלניסנוב ) is the son of Shoshana and Shimon. He is born in 1886, in Temir-Khan-Shura (the Caucasus), in a family very modest Juive living the mountains. As of childhood, he devotes himself to physical work. He is educated in simplicity, within a proud community of his roots, where the men are accustomed to the port of the weapon and where the direction of the honor holds a dominating place. At the thirteen years age it leaves for Bakou to study the seam in a Jewish tailor, and, under the influence of his working friends, it adheres to the social democrat Parti Russian, that it leaves to join the rows of the party Poale Sion, convinced that in Diaspora the Jews do not have future. Nisnov is interested gradually in the life in Ground of Israel. In 1906, it emigrates in Palestine after many one year peregrinations. It arrives at Haïfa from where it leaves, at foot, for Zihron Yaakov. Preaching the ideas of a force of Jewish self-defense, it counts among the founders of the organization Hashomer.

After its marriage, Nisnov leaves to settle in Galileo and takes share with the patrols of guard. It is sent to the young whole Kibboutz Merhavia from where, on February 23rd 1911, in company of Zvi Baker it leaves in cart for Beït-Gan. It is on the road that he is assassinated during the ambush fomented by the Arab the day-even. Yéhezkel Nisnov is buried with Yavnéel, from where it will be transferred some time later for the kibbutz Kfar-Guiladi, near the other members of Hashomer. It is thus described, at the time of its funeral oration: " Quiet of nature, discrete and Petri of modesty. The work of the Jewish guard was for him an ideal, and by its simplicity, it could arrive at its ends, it in what of others, morally and verbally aggressive, failed.
