Xianfeng (1831 - 1861), emperor of China of 1850 at 1861, belongs to the Dynastie Qing.
Born in 1831 with the name from Aixinjueluo Yizhu, it is the fourth wire of the Emperor Daoguang and the brother of the Chinese princes Chun and Gong. He died in the 11th year of his reign in 1861.
During its reign, the Dynastie Qing was besieged on all the sides: there were country risings in all the empire; the foreign armies invaded Da Gu Kou (a port in the west of Tianjin), then Tianjin, before going towards Beijing. The Xianfeng Emperor escaped then in one from his residences from summer located at Chengde where he died in his bed.
One of his/her concubines became the empress dowager Cixi, which gave him his/her son and successor Tongzhi.
