Wink

A wink is an intentional facial expression consisting in closing one from its two Yeux. It is distinguished from the Clignement owing to the fact that an eye remains open. The wink is a form of nonverbal communication, often expressing the Connivence or the Complicité in the Secret.

In the Western cultures , the women blink of an eye in direction of the men whom they wish to meet, although this process seems last of mode. In the cultures of Latin America, the wink can also mean romantic or sexual invitation.

With the Nigeria, one blinks of an eye to invite the children to leave a part. In the Chinese Culture, the wink is sometimes regarded as a coarse gesture.

Expression

One employs also the " term; wink " to indicate in a work of fiction a reference to another work.
