Wexford ( Log Garman in Irish) is a city of the Comté of Wexford in Irish Republic.
Its name derives from the Vieux norrois Waes Fjord , roughly: " the arm of the sea in the grounds boueux". It is the capital of the county of Wexford. It is located at the south-eastern point of the Ireland, near the harbor complex of Rosslare Europort.
