Washington Huskies is a club general sports university of the Université of Washington to Seattle. The teams of Huskies take part in the university competitions organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Washington belongs to division Pacific Ten Conference.
The most famous team of Huskies is that of American football which was national champion in 1991. This formation was created in 1899. Warren Moon was one of the many large players having evolved/moved at Huskies.
The basketball players reached once the Final Furnace in 1953 while the volleyeuses ones gained national title NCAA in 2005.
Another strong point of Huskies: the female Oar. In this discipline, Washington gained recently three national titles NCAA by team (1997, 1998 and 2001).
