Warcisław VI of Poméranie
Warcislaw VI of Poméranie (in Polish Warcisław VI , in German Wartislaw VI. ) was born towards 1345 and is deceased the June 13rd 1394 with Klępino Białogardzkie. He is duke of Poméranie.
Warcislaw VI is the son of Barnim IV of Poméranie and Sophie of Mecklembourg - Werle. He is the older brother of Bogusław VI.
After the death of his/her father in 1365, the relations between his/her two uncles Boguslaw V and Warcislaw V worsen and a war bursts between the two brothers. Warcislaw, supported by the prince of Mecklembourg, only claims part of the duchy for him. The end of the year 1367, an agreement is shown between the protagonists. Boguslaw V keeps the Poméranie power station (the part of the Western Poméranie in the east of the Oder). The wire of Barnim IV (Warcislaw VI and Boguslaw VI) receive Poméranie Western with Rügen and Usedom. Warcisław V obtains the small duchy independent of Szczecinek which will exist only until its death in 1390.
Starting from 1376, Warcislaw VI reigns on the duchy of Barth whereas his/her brother reigns on the duchy of Wolgast. Died of his/her younger brother in 1393, it succeeds to him Wolgast.
Warcisław VI married Anne of Mecklembourg-Stargard which gave him three children:
