Walter Scott (before 1606 - November 20th 1633), 1st Count de Buccleuch, is a Scottish aristocrat .
Wire of Walter Scott, first Lord Scott de Buccleuch and of Mary Kerr, it Marie with Lady Mary Hay, girl of Francis Hay, ninth count d' Erroll and of Douglas Elizabeth, towards the October 15th 1616, with a dowry of 20.000 merks Scottish. It succeeds his father like Lord Scott de Buccleuch the December 15th 1611 and is made count de Buccleuch, with the subsidiary title of baron Scott de Whitchester and Eskdaill the May 16th 1619.
He is commander of a regiment to the service of the Holland in 1627 against the Spaniards. He dies the November 20th 1633 with London, but he is not buried in Hawick before the June 11th 1634, the boat transporting his body having been deviated towards the Norway by a storm.
