The World Championship Wrestling (WCW) World Tag TEAM Championship was the title by team of the World Championship Wrestling between 1991 and 2001.
History
The titles were create in 1975 for the federation Mid-Atlantic Wrestling like leure version of the World Tag TEAM Championship . The titles were recognized like NWA World Tag TEAM Championship by the Jim Crockett Promotions, Inc. (later World Championship Wrestling) until 1991, when the WCW separated from the NWA and that the titles are famous WCW World Tag TEAM Championship .It must be stressed that the NWA did not recognize officially of World Tag TEAM Champions, as it y' had many regional titles per team affiliated to the NWA like titles " Mondiaux". - Chris Benoit, Mick Foley, and the Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray Dudley & D-Von Dudley), is the only people to have held the WCW Tag TEAM Championship, WWF Tag TEAM Championship, and ECW Tag TEAM Championship. Benoit and Dudley Boyz also held in more the exclusive title with SmackDown!, WWE Tag TEAM Championship, and Dudleyz (now known under the name TEAM 3D) held the titles by teams of NWA and TNA.
