Volvo FE

The Volvo FE is a vehicle intended for the heavy distribution in urban environment. It appeared in 2006.

Description

Intercalated between the ranges Volvo FL and FM, FE is available out of carriers 2 and 3 Essieu X and out of tractors 4x2. It covers the weights ranging between 18 and 26 tons. The cabin is manufactured in the factory Renault Trucks of Blainville-on-Flowering ash (which manufactures the Renault Premium) and is assembled with the frame in the factory Volvo of Ghent in Belgium.

This vehicle receives an engine Volvo D7E:

  • 6 cylinders in line of 7,2l - injection with high pressure (1800 bars);
  • powers: 240,280 and 320 ch;
  • example: 320 ch with 2300 tr/min;
  • maximum couple: 1200 N.m of 1200 to 1700 tr/min;
  • conforms according to the choice of the customer to the standards Euro IV and V with technique SCR - selective catalytic reduction.

Gear box:

  • ZF ZTO1109 with 9 reports/ratios before including 1 extra-slow - mechanical box;
  • 6 reports/ratios before - automated box;
  • standard Allison AL306 with 9 reports/ratios before (automatic box).
Speed reducer: integrate (in option) - reserve of 255.5 CH into 2400 tr/min.
