Virtual Airline company

Some airline companies are known as virtual : they have anything (neither Avion S, nor lines) but they organize the flights with other means, mainly with companies charters, which they charter on a regular basis.

As example one can quote: Point-Africa, a Co-operative travellers who serves many Aéroport S of North Africa and of West Africa.

One also understands by virtual airline company (in English virtual airline or GOES) a group or club of amateurs of flight simulator whose objective is to also simulate the life of a genuine airline company, with his scheduled flights on precise destinations in the respect of the real procedures of the civil aviation. The pilots of these companies also find themselves in network, where they can profit from the services of air-traffic controllers " joueurs" like them, but which respect them also strictly the real procedures on takeoff, the landing and in vol.

The European regulation, which provides that a company must have at its disposal at least an apparatus, in property or hiring (rglt 2407 (92)), prohibited thus the realization of a virtual company. However, some travel agencies use wrongly the concept of scheduled flights and seek to be made pass for airline companies.

It is to differentiate them that virtual the Airline company term is used.
