Vineyard of Cabardès
The vineyard of Cabardès is a Vignoble French, it is a Appellation of controlled origin (AOC) since 1998. It is located at the north of Carcassonne in the departments of the Aude in area Languedoc-Roussillon on the buttresses of the Black Montagne in area Cabardès. Of a surface of 550 ha, Cabardès, A.O.C. since February 1999, extends on 18 communes, it gathers 26 particular companies including 5 cooperative wine caves and 21 cellars.
Type of vines
Cabardès is only name to marry 40% minimum of Atlantic type of vines (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Frank Cabernet) with 40% minimum of Mediterranean type of vines (Syrah and Grenache), the Côt and the Fer Servadou which can supplement the assemblies with 20% maximum.

The climate of transition from Cabardès associates the Mediterranean sunning with the freshness of Aquitaine, Atlantic softness crosses the southernmost rigors there.
