Viktor Tikhonov
Viktor Vasilevich Tikhonov - in Russian: Ru ВикторВасильевичТихонов , (born the June 4th 1930 with Moscow) is a former player and trainer of Hockey of the USSR
Career
As a player, it occupies initially the station of defender for VVS Moscow (team of the Soviet air force) as from 1949-50 then in 1953 joined the Dynamo Moscow. In nearly 300 matches, it registers 35 goals and gains with four recoveries the Soviet championship - today Russian Superliga - three times with the VVS (1951, 1952 and 1953) and once with the Dynamo (1954). With the VVS, it also gains the Soviet Cut in 1952.It begins its career of trainer in 1964 while becoming assistant trainer of the team of the Dynamo, posts that it occupies pendnt four seasons before becoming the trainer as a chief of the Dinamo Riga for ten seasons.
In 1977, it takes a new dimension while being at the same time the trainer of CSKA Moscow but also that of the national team. It will respectively occupy these two functions until 1996 and 1992. He is the Soviet trainer having spent the most time behind the bench of the national team with 413 trained matches.
He is established with the temple of famous the of the International federation of hockey in 1999.

With CSKA Moscow, he is champion of the USSR each season between 1979 and 1989. He also gains all the Coupes of Europe between 1979 and 1990. Lastly, its team gains the Coupe of the USSR in 1977 and 1988 as well as the Coupe Spengler in 1991.
