Viktor Meyer or Victor Meyer (September 8th 1848 with Berlin - August 8th 1897 with Heidelberg), was a German chemist .
In 1871, he became professor of Organic chemistry with Stuttgart; then in 1872, it took the succession of Johannes Wislicenus with the federal Polytechnic school of Zurich.
In 1885, it succeeded Hans Hübner with Göttingen and finally it succeeded Robert Wilhelm Bunsen with prestigious the Université of Heidelberg.
