Victor-Amédée Ier of Savoy , born with Turin the May 8th 1587, died with Vercelli the October 7th 1637, was duke of Savoy and prince de Piémont of 1630 with 1637. It was wire of Charles-Emmanuel Ier, duke of Savoy and prince de Piémont, and of Catherine Michelle of Spain.

Although brother-in-law of king de France, it made him the war. Overcome, it had to sign the Traité of Cherasco (1632). Four years after, it was combined by the treaty of Rivoli in France against the Austria and gained over the Marquis de Léganés two battles with Tornavento (1636) and with Mombaldone (1637). He died little of days afterwards.

Victor-Amédée marries the February 10th 1619 Christine of France (16061663), third child and second girl of Henri IV of France and Marie de Médicis, which did it brother-in-law of Louis XIII of France, of Philippe IV of Spain and Charles Ier of England. They had 7 children:

  6. Henriette-Adelaide of Savoy (16361676) wife in 1652 Ferdinand-Marie de Wittelsbach (16361679), voter of Bavaria
  7. Catherine Béatrice of Savoy (16361637)
