Vera Cruz is an American film carried out by Robert Aldrich, left the May 11th 1955.

Synopsis

The American Civil War finished, certain soldiers demobilized and without fasteners, leave to the adventure to Mexico where a civil war is held opposing car-proclaimed the emperor Maximilien and Benito Juárez. Indeed, each of the two camps recruit with prolifically to pack its troops.

Benjamin Trane, like Joe Erin with his band of brigands, are solicited by the two camps. The marquis Henri de Labordère, related to Maximilien, at the very least carries it and proposes to the two men a mission without dangers: to escort fits with body it of the countess Marie Duvarre who goes to Vera Cruz. They are not long in suspecting of the more pressing reasons to this voyage and, to the evening of the first halt, throw an eye in fits with body.

They are in that, precursors of the characters of the westerns-spaghettis. The final outcome answers however the outcome traditional, and gives the characters in their role of defender of the good.
