Valanjou

Valanjou is a common French, located in the department of Maine-et-Loire and the area Pays of the Loire. The common one was created by the fusion of the two transitory communes of Étiau and of Played, before 1794. In 1974, Played-Étiau amalgamated with Gonnord to form the new commune of Valanjou.

The commune of Valanjou was born on January 1st, 1974 of fusion from Played-Étiau (parishes amalgamated at the time of the Révolution) and from Gonnord.
