Völklingen is a city in the Saar, located in the district of Saarbrucken.

The city, bathed by the the Saar, is after Saarbrucken, Neunkirchen and Hombourg, the fourth most populated city the Saar.

In Völklingen is the iron and steel plant of Völklingen, the Völklinger Hütte , classified with the World Cultural heritage.
