The Cathédrale Uspenski is the orthodoxe cathedral Finnish capital Helsinki. It was built on order of the Tsar of Russia between 1862 and 1868, in particular to prevent that the Russian civils servant were not assimilated too much to the Finnish people. It is dedicated to the Dormition of Marie (veneration of the Virgin).

She is located near the center town, on a hill of the peninsula of Katajanokka.
