Us them gods is first shutter of the Trilogie of the cycle of the gods of Bernard Werber which comprises three volumes:

the island of the magic spells (abandoned title): Us them gods (September 2004)
- the breath of the history (abandoned title): the Breath of the gods (October 2005)
- the last mystery (abandoned title): the Mystery of the gods (October 3rd, 2007)
Synopsis
The hero of the history is always Michael Pinson which after having been a human being ( Thanatonautes ) then a Ange ( Empire of the angels ) finally became a “pupil God”. He is now some share in the Univers, on the island of Aeden.Each day, a god different (resulting from the Greek Mythology) sign with these new pupils how to work a world in order to be able one day to become a god in their turn. The competition is hard in this world. Thus, each day, the last of the class are eliminated, carried by Centaure S.
The pupils are also confronted with a mysterious " Deicide " (Killer gods) making devastation among the 144 pupils of this new promotion of apprentices gods. Certain pupils test in addition to climbing the mountain of the island, believer that at the top the Master of all the gods reigns.
