ESINSA ( University of engineer of Nice Sophia-Antipolis ) is a school of engineers within the university of Nice - Sophia Antipolis. On the site of the technopolis of Sophia Antipolis, the ESINSA is in the center of a synergy teaching - research - industry.

From now on, the name of the school is “university EPU polytechnic school of Nice - Sophia Antipolis”.

It accommodates three hundred and fifty pupils - engineers for a training in 5 years. The admission is done mainly on the level baccalaureat (contest GEIPI) but also with BAC+2 and BAC+4. The school is specialized in micro-electronics, electronics of telecommunications and networks, digital processing of the signals, embarked electronics.

March 2nd, 2005: publication with the OJ of the decree of creation of Polytech' Nice Sophia associating ESINSA, ESSI and Magistère of pharmacology.

The ESINSA becomes the department of electronics of the new school.

The principal was, until 2005, Mr. Chave.
