Union of the republicans of social action

Union of the republicans of social action , URAS, parliamentary group consisted the gaullists after the bursting of RPF in 1953. The first 27 dissidents constitute L republican and social Action (ARS) and support Antoine Pinay. One finds ministers URAS in the governments of Joseph Laniel, Pierre Mendès France and Edgar Faure. They went “to soup” as said with irony the Général de Gaulle.
