Typhoon Prapiroon (2006)
Prapiroon is the name of a typhoon which was transformed into Tropical storm, meaning " god of the pluie" in Thai, which struck peaceful north in August 2006.
The tropical storm started by striking with the Filipino where it killed six people, then it flew over the southernmost China Sea, being transformed into typhoon, and caused important disturbances on air transports with HongKong.
Its winds of 130 km/h accompanied by violent rains then reached the China, where the assessment is considered at 77 died with the August 7th 2006, the majority of the deaths being due to landslides and flood sudden. In this country, Prapiroon touched the provinces of the Guangdong in particular the towns of Yangjiang and Dianbai (on August 3rd, 2006), then the province close to the Guangxi.
