Two-wheeled vehicle
A two-wheeled vehicle is a Véhicule provided with two Roue S longitudinally laid out and intended for the Transport of a person, sometimes two. The two-wheeled vehicles can be motorized, like the Motocyclette, the Cyclomoteur, the Scooter, or not, like the Bicyclette, VTT, etc
The term “two-wheeled vehicle” is quasi-synonymous of “Cycle”, however this last includes the light vehicles with three wheels but excludes the powerful motorized two-wheeled vehicles from the type motor bike.
The two-wheeled vehicles are provided with a saddle for the driver and sometimes with an embryo of body.
The use of the motorized two-wheeled vehicles is subjected to a particular regulation within the framework of the Highway code, according to their Cylindrée, in particular according to whether this one exceeds or not the threshold of the 50 Cm3. The regulation imposes generally, in particular for, the obligation motorcycles of Assurance of the civil responsibility of the driver and in circulation and emission speed limit of noise, sometimes the registration of the vehicle. It is interdict to modify its engine to circumvent the regulation and, in the event of accident or of simple police control, the contravener exposes himself to a fine and the non-repayment of the damage, the policies insurance generally comprising clauses of exclusion.
