the Tower of Terms of Armagnac , in the Gers, is old a Donjon castle says “castle of Thibault de Termes” of which it remains the only vestige.
Presentation
The construction of the castle date completion of the 13th century and beginning of the 14th century. The keep measures 36 meters height and includes/understands six levels. Strategically built on a hill which dominates the valley of the Adour and the valley of the Arros, it makes it possible the family of Armagnac to supervise the borders of the Armagnac. Its more famous inhabitant was Thibault of Armagnac, companion of Jeanne d' Arc and which testified in its favor at the time of its lawsuit of rehabilitation.Classified historic building in 1960, it shelters in its center the museum of the Gascon plume having milked with the history and the regional culture.
