Trio for piano and cords (Roussel)
The Trio for piano, violin and violoncello COp 2 in major E flat is a work composed by Albert Roussel in 1902.
It is about a work of relative youth, the type-setter having begun rather late his career of musician. She was written whereas Roussel was the pupil of Vincent d' Indy with the Schola Cantorum. The same year, it became teaching about it.
It is sometimes called trio n° 1 , in reference to two other works for three instruments but which are not the same ones each time. It is about the first work of Chamber music of the musician which had written some vocal parts before and for piano.
The first was given by it on April 14th 1904 to Paris. The partition was revised by it in 1927.
