Bridge-the Abbé ( Bridge 'N Breton Abad in ) is a common department of the Finistere, in the area Brittany, in France. It is the capital of the Pays Bigouden.

- the Castle of Pont-l'Abbé (town hall - museum bigouden (beautiful collection of costumes and caps)), old keep seigneurial of the barons of the Bridge, dating from XIVe and XVIIIe centuries. Remarkable medieval cellars in basement. The room of the marriages is decorated tables of Mathurin Méheut (the wearing of San Marino), Henri Sollier and the painter bridge-the abbist Jacques Godin.
- the vault of the Sacred Heart , of style néo-novel (XIXe century), old vault of catechism, is not visited.
- the Notre-Dame church of the Carmelite friars , old vault of a convent of fathers Carmelite friars, was built between 1383 and 1420. Of Gothic style, it contains many old statues and a rosette considered to be one of most beautiful of Brittany. One can admire there several embroidered works of the famous house Minor (a banner of 1960, a front of organ case…). A cloister coupled with this church, was located in the current court of the public school. But it was dismounted completely and rebuilt at the beginning of the XXe century with the great seminar of Quimper, future Chaptal college.
- the Notre-Dame church of the Carmelite friars is also equipped with a large exceptional organ worthy of a monument: symphonic instrument Beuchet-Debierre (1966-68) increased by manufacture Dargassies-Gonzales (1990), having 43 plays for 3 keyboards and pedals, equipped with a mobile console, tranmissions electric solid-state and combining electronics. In addition, some of the few thousands of pipes date from the first organ i.e. of 1660.
- the church of Lambour (XIIIe-XVIe century) was decapitated in 1675 pennies Louis XIV in repression with the Revolt of the Red Bonnets. The pillars with posts and capitals of the school of Bridge-Cross are worthy of interest. An association takes care of the restoration, the maintenance and the animation of the building.
- the Monument in Bigoudens , work out of granite of François Bazin (1931), represents a group of five Bigoudènes out of traditional dress of the beginning of the XXe century (four women and a child) thinking of their son, father, husbands or grandsons who fight at sea against the storm.
- the Manor of Kernuz , restored about 1850 by the large historian of Brittany, Armand of Chatellier.

Events & Festivities
- the festival of the Embroidering-machines (first week of July). It is one of the folk festivals most beautiful of Brittany, crowning each year a queen of the Embroidering-machines, who descends main street from the city accompanied by the Bagad S by all Brittany joined together. The embroiderers were a brotherhood of craftsmen realizing of the clothing richements worked with the order. It is said that their order book finished they feasted much.
- the forgiveness of August 15th , offering large a Fest-noz to Kervazégan or in the city.
- the forgiveness of Tréminou , fourth Sunday of September.
- the forgiveness of Lambour , last Sunday of July (mass and concert).
- estival of the large organ of Notre-Dame of the Carmelite friars of Bridge the Abbot : every Thursday morning of the summer to 10:30: concerts of organ with free entry.
