Tribe of Gad
The tribe of Gad is one of the Twelve tribes of Israel. It goes down from Gad, wire of Jacob.
At the time of the conquest of the Country of Canaan, the tribe of Gad settles in the east of the the Jordan.
Gad belongs to the ten tribes of the Royaume of Israel in the north of the Royaume of Juda after the schism. These tribes are off-set by the Assyrian and disappear from the biblical account.
