Trélon is a common French, located in the department of the Northern and the area Nord-Pas-de-Calais.

History
It is a locality undoubtedly very old because one found there tiles, remains of Roman origin and medals of Auguste and Domitien. Its history is related to the tormented history of its castle. Trélon belongs as of the XI E century to the family of Avesnes. The castle was built by Nicolas d' Avesnes. The current castle is always inhabited by the family of Mérode, it is set up on the site of the old castle. The castle was rebuilt en1704, destroyed partly at the time of the revolution it was transformed about 1860 according to the style Louis XIII.
