Tournaisien

The Tournaisien is a stage Mississippien in the Carbonifère (era Paléozoïque) which extends from 359 with 345  million years. It owes its name at the town of Tournai in Belgium.

It was in the past included in the Dinantien.

It includes/understands the ages:

  • Ivorien
  • Hastarien
