Tom Van Vollenhoven

Karel Thomas (Tom) van Vollenhoven , born the April 29th 1935 in Bethlehem (South Africa), is a former player of Rugby to XV and Rugby to XIII which played with the team of South Africa. It evolved/moved at the station of three quarter wing.

Career

It disputed its first test match the August 6th 1955 against the British Lions. He played his last test match against the All Blacks, the August 18th 1956.
In 1957, he chose Rugby with XIII and the club of St Hèlens RFLC until his end of a career in 1968. In 408 matches it marked 395 tests including 62 for the season 1958/59
At summer elected by the British Immortal of Rugby with XIII.
