Time (meteorology)
What is called the time is the whole of the physical conditions of the low layers of the atmosphere at one exact moment and in a precise point. One commonly associates with time the weather conditions of which one can feel the effects directly: the ennuagement or the solar radiation, the Temperature, the Wind, the precipitation and visibility.
The study and the forecast of time are called the Météorologie.
Four elements interact to produce time:
- the Atmospheric pressure,
- the Temperature,
- the atmospheric moisture (Hygroscopy),
- the Wind.
These factors themselves are influenced by 5 factors:
- the Latitude,
- the Altitude,
- the Vegetation,
- current sailors,
- the distribution ground-sea.
The weather phenomena which generate time can occur on various temporal and space scales. That one compares for example the one afternoon storm of summer with a vast storm of the average latitudes which can last several days and cover thousands of square kilometers. All these phenomena have the sun like energy source ultimement.
