The trade of timbrist consists in manufacturing Tampon S or Timbre S.
Several methods are used (order ascending of quality of manufacture):
Resin
Consist in manufacturing a flexible Polymère (relief engraving) and to cut out this one in order to create a sole. These plugs are damaged very quickly.
The laser
Consist in machining a plate of rubber vulcanized by the means of a laser beam. This porous material involves an excessive consumption of Encre.
The traditional one
Consist in creating a blank in hollow starting from a polymer bases metal or of Plomb, which will make it possible to mould a natural rubber sheet by a pressure of 200
bar S and a temperature of 150°C. This process is most adequate with the manufacture of plugs.
