Tigrinya

The tigrinya is a language of the Semitic group spoken in Ethiopia, Érythrée and Israel. In Érythrée it has the statute of official language. It counts approximately 4 million speakers, including three million in Ethiopia, a million in Érythrée and ten thousand in Israel. Just as the Amharique, the tigrinya is written by means of a particular spelling-book resulting from the Syllabaire Guèze.
