Tieling
Tieling (铁岭; Pinyin: Tiělíng) is a city of the north of the province of the Liaoning in China.
Tieling was called formerly Yingang. The minister Zhou Enlai lived a few years in his youth there. Today, one can still visit his old school. In Tieling, one can see the mountain LongShouShan (the mountain of the head and hands of the dragon). At the top, draws up a pagoda of the time of the Liao dynasty. The famous humorist ZhaoBenshan is originating in the city.
Administrative divisions
The city-prefecture of Tieling exerts its jurisdiction on seven subdivisions - two districts, two city-counties and three counties :- the district of Yinzhou - 银州区 Yínzhōu Qū ;
- the district of Qinghe - 清河区 Qīnghé Qū ;
- the town of Diaobingshan - 调兵山市 Diàobīngshān Shì ;
- the town of Kaiyuan - 开原市 Kāiyuán Shì ;
- the county of Tieling - 铁岭县 Tiělǐng Xiàn ;
- the county of Xifeng - 西丰县 Xīfēng Xiàn ;
- the county of Changtu - 昌图县 Chāngtú Xiàn .
