Thrombolyse
The thrombolyse consists to lyse of them (to disaggregate chemically) the thrombi (clots) which caused necroses it tissue. The 3 principal indications of this emergency treatment are: the pulmonary embolism, myocardial infarction and the ischemic cerebral vascular accident.
In practice, the product is injected, in the absence of against indication, by peripheral venous way or will intra arterial selective. Traditional treatment of first intention of the recent myocardial infarction, it is reserved for the severe forms of the pulmonary embolisms, and tends to spread in the early assumption of responsibility (first hours) of the not very wide ischemic AVC.
The awaited benefit of this emergency treatment is the tissue reperfusion of downstream in order to improve the forecast functional (and sometimes vital)… but at the price of an incompressible risk of rare but frightening hemorrhages.
