Thomen Stauch
Thomen "the Omen" Stauch (born the March 11th 1970), Beater of the group of German metal Blind Guardian until in 2005, is one of the four founders of the young group Savage Circus.
At Blind Guardian
It was supposed to become roofer like his father, but in 1984 learned the Guitare with its model André Olbrich, - guitarist of the future group Blind Guardian- without showing there of real talent (Hansi Kürsch in the German Metal HAMMER). One day, he sat down behind a battery, gave a true show so that one advised to him to give up the guitar and to become beater. After little time it became beater of Lucifer' S Heritage, predecessor of Blind Guardian. Its play of battery dominating strongly influenced the Sonorité of Blind Guardian.
Savage Circus
In March 2005 it left the group because of the " differences musicales" often evoked though it supports all that it did with BG (Thomen in an interview in EMP (magazine)). The two edges affirm that they separated friendly. With Piet Sielck (Iron Savior), Jens Carlsson (To persuade) & Emil Norberg (also To persuade) it founds a new group named Savage Circus whose sonorities resemble those dear by Thomen in the albums Somewhere far beyond (1992) & Imaginations from the other side (1995) of BG.
August 20th, 2007, the group announces that it separates from Thomen, this due to repetitive cancellations in concerts because of him.
