Thiamin pyrophosphate
The Thiamine pyrophosphate (figure 1) is a Coenzyme of transfer. Derived from the Thiamin (B1 vitamin), it is fixed at the Enzyme, it is a prosthetic grouping.
It takes part in the reactions of decarboxylation.
