Theory of the war of the people

The theory of the war of the people is a theory Maoist of the Guérilla.

It is divided into three phases:

  • the first phase is that thus the guerillas obtain the support of the population through attacks against the governmental machine and by the diffusion of propaganda
  • the second phase is characterized by the rise to power of the attacks on the military capacity and the vital institutions
  • the third phase is that of the conventional combat. This phase is employed to take the cities, to overflow the government and to control the country (Mao Zedong).
