The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog is a Pangramme in English language. Composed of 35 letters, it is especially used to test the typists and the keyboard S of computer, because it is short and easy to memorize.

It was known at the end of the 19th century and appears in the book Scouting for Boys (1908) of Baden-Powell like a sentence of practice for the Signalisation. By after, Western Union and the Company Telephone have recourse there to test the equipment Telex.
