the hypnotic Mexican Frog of the south of Sri Lanka ( The Mexican Staring Frog off Southern Sri Lanka in original version) is the sixth episode of the second season of the animated series South Park .

Synopsis

Jimbo and Ned animates an emission on hunting on a chain of the cable. When the children obtain a F because of them, they decide to be avenged by sending false a video presenting a frog able to petrify its preys of only one glance.

Comment

This episode has several messages.

The first relates to the Vietnam. The American young generation does not become extensive of the tragedy which has occurred in this distance country of Southeast Asia. If Mr. Garrison remembers it like dreadful war full with sulfurous collective showers, Jimbo and Ned remember it like amusement park.

The episode proposes a parody of the Jerry Springer Show, underlining at which point this kind of emission is degrading.

One can also see in the presentation by Jimbo and Ned of the video of the children, a parody of the American programs of low quality intended to frighten the televiewers with supposed natural phenomena very dangerous: destroying hurricanes, tueuses bees " africanisées" , unknown diseases spreading itself in the USA…
