Synopsis

Ex-soldier with the heroic past, American Bill Willis, become an author with success, lives with Paris with his Marcella wife and his Channe daughter, 7 years old at the end of these Années 1960. Willis adopt a French little boy, Benoît, whom they rename Billy. The family, which never was really integrated in France, decides to once return to the the United States the children become tall. Soldering iron, with an immense sorrow which it dissimulates with her parents, leaves France by leaving his/her friends banked-up bed there. Against any waiting, the family, installed with Hanover in Indiana, has difficulties in find her marks in a country which appears as strange to him as that from where it comes, well before being confronted with the adversity of its destiny…
