The double wall
the double wall is a work of art of Fabien Giraud and Raphaël Siboni.
This project is a homage to Michel Lolito, known as Mr Mangetout. It is about a Cessna 150, the same model that the recordman of the world introduced. It was cut out according to the method of Mr Mangetout, in small squares of 2 centimetres which were reconstituted by joining, welding… It is not a question to destroy a plane but to make the archeology of an action. This project is the double reconstitution of the object and the practice " alimentaire". It is about the search for a relationship between the figure of the superman popular and the action minimalist and repetitive of the cutting of this object. The passage in the digestive Tract modifit of nothing the shape the objects which are being reconstituted in a form close to the Avion basic. But this pleasing re-creation of the unverifiable Change S because it is carried out without gauge.
Its name comes from the physical characteristic of Mr Mangetout. It was equipped with double walls stomachic and intestinal.
