The Valaisan Alps
The the Valaisan Alps are the part of the the Alps located at the south of the Canton of Were worth between the Vallée of Aoste and the valley of the the Rhone. The Italian part of the solid mass is called the Alps pennines.

Geography
Situation
The Valaisan Alps include/understand inter alia the Massif of Mischabels, the Mont Pink, the Matterhorn, etcThe Valaisan Montagne S located at the north of the valley of the Rhone as for them are regarded as belonging to the the Bernese Alps.
For the remainder are in the west, on other bank of the Doire Baltée, the the grées Alps (including the Massif of Mont Blanc and the Massif of the Great Paradise) and in the east, separated by the Simplon pass, the the Alps lépontines.
Summits of more than 4.000 meters
They are 41 in the Valaisan Alps, that is to say 82 top half of more than 4000 m of the the Alps. Other half is divided into 5 alpine solid masses.
